Are you an architect, interior designer, or other professional, wondering about your options for getting started in Film and TV? This Filmbase session will be all about the ins and outs of transferring into the industry. We'll be talking to Helen Johnson from Talking Point about the options for professionals who already have a relevant skillset, and who are wondering how to make the leap. 

Helen has over 20 years of production experience and runs courses for individuals who want to get started in the industry. We'll discuss which level of seniority you can expect to start at, how relevant your skills might be and what you should be aware of when looking for work.

The Film and TV industry is like no other and even the job titles can be extremely confusing. For example an Assistant Set Decorator is a senior role, not a junior assistant. We'll explain complications like this and will try and pack as much as we can into the 30 minute lunchtime session,
