Fundraisers for crew affected by LA wildfires
Set Decorators, Art Directors, Prop Masters and other working crew lose their homes

A live list of personal fundraising campaigns gives an idea of how many film & TV crew have been affected by the LA wildfires.

The list contains links to personal fundraising campaigns set up by individual crew on GoFundMe and other sites.

Among the fundraisers are Prop Masters, Set Decorators, Draughtspeople, Storyboard Artists, Costumers, Gaffers, Art Directors and other working crew who have lost their homes.

You can find the list here.

In Los Angeles, Universal, Disney and Warner Bros - all with studio sites close to the fires - closed their doors temporarily or put some productions on temporary hold, until air quality improved and the situation for individual crew members and actors became more stable.

A number of events, including the indie Mammoth Film Festival in February, have been postponed or cancelled. The Oscars is due to go ahead on 3 March.

If you or the production you’re on has been affected and you’d like to get in touch, you can reach us on info@filmbase.uk.
